Frequently asked questions about plans
What is a standard analysis?
A standard analysis evaluates one selected source quickly. It uses the surrounding passage together with the text available directly at the selected address. For academic landing pages, that normally means the paper's abstract, summary and metadata; it does not download a separate full-paper PDF. Every result shows the evidence level actually reviewed.
What is a deep analysis?
A deep analysis makes a bounded attempt to retrieve lawful, publicly accessible full text—HTML first, then a born-digital PDF—and selects the sections most relevant to your citation. It then uses a stronger reasoning pass for complex methodology, conflicting findings or ambiguous relationships. Retrieval is not guaranteed: scanned files, access controls and publisher restrictions can prevent it, and the result always states what was actually available. On Pro and Lab, deep analysis can run automatically or on demand.
What happens when I reach my limit?
You will see a notice in the side panel showing when your monthly quota resets, with an option to upgrade if you need more analyses. If your deep quota runs out on Pro or Lab, citations continue processing as standard analyses.
When do quotas reset? Do unused analyses roll over?
Quotas reset on your monthly billing date (or the first of the month on the Free plan). Unused analyses do not roll over to the next month.
Can I cancel or change plans?
Yes. Subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe, and you can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time directly in the customer portal. There are no lock-in contracts or cancellation fees.
